September 3, 2007 London: Friends star David Schwimmer making his debut as director, brought along the cast of this, his first movie to a glittering premiere in Leicester Square. The Square is the epicente of uk’s film and entertainment venues. Thandie Newton, the gorgeous star lit up the Square as did India de Beaufort, who plays Maya. Both looked stunning. India de Beaufort’s brother accompanied her as a special treat for his birthday. Mum and Gran had to wait outside for the show to end. Also in the film are Gloucester actor Simon Pegg who plays Denis and child actor Deo Simcox who plays the school kid, a special late one Deo as it’s still the summer holidays, just. British celeb chef Ainsley Harriot rubbed shoulders with TV impressionist Rory Bremner. Anthony Stewart from Buffy was there too. Hi I just read your email about India’s name.Her real name is India Ewence Beaufort-Lloyd.Her mum’s maiden name is de Beaufort & India is Beaufort-Lloyd officially & India de Beaufort is her stage name.Her Dad changed his name from Ewence to Lloyd before any kids were born for personal reasons.They used Ewence as a second name & not as a surname so India has never been known as India Ewence.Her parents kept the name Beaufort as Lloyd has no family connection. I’m a cousin too so hope this helps.

India is a beautiful woman but cant match Thandie for beauty and class, sorry but just my opinion.

Technically Indias name is – India Ewence Beaufort-Lloyd. India is my husbands neice. Our surname is Ewence (she is also known as India Beaufort and India Beau).
Her mum is the wonderful dancer Karen Beaufort and her dad is musical actor Nick Lloyd (Starlight Express, Germany).
